A New Beginning

Life is such a mystery,
It is so hard to solve.
The more you are resilient;
The more it breaks your resolve.

The moment you think,
All your problems are solved.
The very next moment you find,
All your respite, getting dissolved.

Moments of happiness looks fleeting;
It flies away at supersonic speed.
For eternal happiness and comfort,
Is all we cherish, desire and need.

Moments of hardship seems long-lasting;
It gives us no choice, but to bear and strive.
However, it is as essential as food and water,
Which gives us strength and keeps us alive.

Moments of laughter and grief,
And the cycle of misery and mirth,
Is as recurring and as perennial as,
The cycle of death and birth.

There is no point in wasting the present,
over unattainable and worthless pinning.
But we can discover new happiness,
By rediscovering ourselves with a new beginning.

Tomorrow will bring smiles

To the past, just say goodbye,
But never let your spirit die;
Tomorrow will bring smiles to you;
So forget failures and heartache,
And learn from every mistake.

No need to stay the way you are
And lose hope after coming so far;
Tomorrow will bring smiles to you;
Just resolve to be headstrong,
And shun the fear of going wrong.

All the precious things in life are free;
Do best friends ever charge any fee?
Tomorrow will bring smiles to you;
Just turn to them whenever
They never let down ever

Whenever you feel, you’ve lost your way,
Remember tomorrow is a brand new day;
It will bring smiles to you;
Don’t ever give up trying;
Success will keep on flying.

Misunderstanding

I tried to bring smile on your face,
But brought you frown instead,
I tried to please you with my loving words,
But it brought you displeasure instead.

My pure love had no hidden meaning at all,
But you took me as someone with an evil soul,
I tried my best to wipe your tears,
But ended up refreshing your hidden fears.

I tried to bring back sparkle in your eyes,
Never thought I’d be paying the heavy price,
You misunderstood me every time,
You got me wrong without any reason or rhyme.

If I ever failed to understand you somewhere,
If I ever forgot to take your care,
I don’t even know what wrong I did,
Still for your forgiveness, I beg and plead.

Just refresh the sweet old memories, dear,
It would surely vanquish all your doubts and fear,
Let the distance between us to narrow,
And welcome the new dawn of blissful tomorrow.

Oh, please give me a break!

Oh, please give me a break!
I don’t speak the language
That divide and categorize
I don’t take pride in belonging to the groups
It’s a sheer hypocrisy to which I won’t stoop
I speak the language - the language of smile
The universal language, yes, that is mine.

Oh, please give me a break!
I don’t belong to a certain country, region or a state
The whole world is my home
Where I’d like to freely roam
Discrimination is figment of feeble mind
Which make human, inhuman and blind
And hinder the progress of entire mankind.
