Look Deep Inside –A Ghazal

In your heart look deep inside,

To find the truth peep inside.

When you see reign of evil,

Does your heart weep inside?

Or you have closed both the eyes,

To let falsehood seep inside.

Why not shun prejudice and,

All hatred you keep inside.

O’ Shahid, The Lord is there,

Let not despair creep inside.

Without Any Reason

Everything that happens, happens for a reason,

Still some things do happen without any reason.

Where, we are wise in making new relations,

We fall in love with a stranger without any reason.

Knowing very well, failed love is unyielding,

We often keep on longing without any reason.

Knowing very well, some desires are unattainable,

We hope for its fulfillment without any reason.

Blinded in love, knowingly we put all our faith,

On a faithless person without any reason.

Unconditional love often gives nothing but pain,

Still we glorify selfless love without any reason.

When life seems directionless and futile,

We continue to live without any reason?

Birth of Paradise (A Ghazal In English)

The day when this earth got a piece of paradise

And it brought with itself, the bliss of paradise.

A pleasing fragrance engulfed the earth

As flowers descended from the garden of paradise.

An idyllic ambiance spread everywhere

Refreshing the earth with breeze of paradise.

Luxuriance prevailed all over the landscape

As thirsty land witnessed the rains of paradise.

An unprecedented gaiety filled the air

As earth got blessed with luxuries of paradise.

A unique wave of serenity swished through everywhere

As divine winds brought this earth, the peace of paradise.

Smiles floated in the earth and the sky

With birth of the angel named PARADISE.

Though you camouflage your pains in poetic words

I acknowledge your deepest ache in my poetic words.

Though my mind remains completely in disarray

I try my best to reflect your soul through poetic words.

Though happiness eludes me, I do not care

I make sure your sorrows do not elude my poetic words.

Though your mask of happiness hides the truth

There is reflection of your sadness in my poetic words.

Though there are millions of things that could inspire

Somehow I end-up getting inspired by your poetic words.

Though I can’t hear the rhythmic beats of your heart

The luminance of your soul enrich my poetic words.

Though I admit my fascination for your poetic words

I regret you misread innocence of my poetic words.
