The Life on Earth

The earth is yours, the earth is mine

Just realize this before we lose

The race against the time.

Water is polluted, so is the air

Humanity is eroding like soil

With the advent of deadly warfare.

The mind is corrupted,

So is the thinking,

The nature is being raped

Without any blinking.

The tender heart is frozen,

So is the heart-beat

Rich crush poor,

Under their cruel feet.

The greed for power is god,

So is the lust for money

Injustice everywhere

Under the rule of tyranny.

Life on this earth holds little value

While on the celestial bodies

We search for its clue.

Just realize before we lose

The race against the time

A Quagmire Called Love

A QUAGMIRE CALLED LOVE

A quagmire - an entrapment for sure
Once stuck in it; there is no cure
No one to help; no one to take you out
Futile would be high pitched shout.

Just one step is all you need
Once inside, you start to plead
It sucks you in, deep inside
Until you wish only death by your side.

Lucky ones - pulled outside
By the one with whom victim’s heart reside
With mud and slush stuck all over
Until welcomed, embraced by lover.

Unlucky ones - trapped there forever
Lonely soul begging for love’s life-saver
With no helping hand of love in sight
Hopelessness reign with no ray of light.

A deadly quagmire
More deadly than raging fire.
A quagmire called love
That the world adores and admire.

A DREAM WITHIN A DREAM

You’re a dream for me-

A dream within a dream

A surreal dream;

An unreal dream;

Far from reality;

Away from sensibility,

Like winter’s dream to meet summer;

Bicycle’s dream to carry a huge hummer;

Iceberg’s dream to kiss the sun;

And Penguin’s to enjoy hot desert run.

A dream within a dream;

A vivid dream;

An unrealizable dream;

A dream that can never be true.

A dream to spend a Valentine Day with you,

A dream to have a candlelight date;

A dream to be your soul mate.

But oh, how fool am I to forget ?

You’re just a dream for me-

A dream within a dream

And nothing more than that.

 

Dimpled Smile

Dimpled Smile

Crescent on a clear, flawless sky

So prominent, lively and so bright

With two sparkling stars so nigh

One on left and one on its right

Two more radiating just above

Announcing what a festivities! Wow!

Its arrival sacred

And sooo eagerly awaited

Elating like heavenly bliss

Liable and worth a loving kiss.
